K/1st Grades | September Afternoons

the NatureLab - Takoma Park

$ 220.00

We aim to get your Kindergartener or 1st grader OUT! (Outside Under Tents) and exploring the worlds of science, art, and nature.

We offer an alternative route for our K-1st graders to explore their creativity, build critical thinking skills, and interact with like-minded, curious friends.

In October, our Kindergarten and first Grade students will be looking more closely at weather and the life cycles of living things. Throughout the month on each day we meet, we will introduce a concept which will be reinforced through projects and walking field trips. At the end of October, each child will have a portfolio of discrete studies to bring home.

Our groups will meet at 3:30-5:30 with one adult and one high school age helper (if needed).

Discounts for combined programs, siblings, and "teacher" families. Feel free to email us with any questions or requests at lab-up@thenaturelabsite.com. We look forward to seeing you outside... in a tent or a park or along the creek.
