K/1st Grades | January Afternoons
the NatureLab - Takoma Park
Let's get your Kindergartener / 1st grader OUT! (Outside Under Tents) and exploring the worlds of science, art, and nature while exercising their creativity, building critical thinking skills, and interacting with like-minded, curious friends.
In January, our Kindergarten and first Grade students will be examining structures, crystals, form, and facet. Studies will be balanced by building and exploring, linking the concept of crystal with the natural and built environments. Each day we meet throughout the month, we will introduce a concept which will be reinforced through projects, play, and walking field trips.
Our groups meet at *3:15-5:15* (Gazebo) with one adult and one high school age helper (if needed).
Discounts for combined programs, siblings, and "teacher" families. Feel free to email us with any questions or requests at email@example.com. We look forward to seeing you outside... in a tent or a park or along the creek.
