6th_8th Grades | SEPTEMBER Afternoons
the NatureLab - Takoma Park
For September, the NatureLab students will be examining the transition from the "remoteness" of the past year to the possibilities of summer. Come outside with us while building critical thinking skills, exploring inherent creativity, and spending time with like-minded friends.
Students will be delving in to memories of the past year and considerations of the summer to come. Thoughts and memories will be translated though drawing, painting, and writing in the production of a series of fabric panels. Each day we meet throughout the month, we will focus on a theme which will be explored through the projects, materials, and exploration of site.
We're so grateful to have shared these afternoons outside with your children - thank you!
Our groups will meet at 4pm-6pm with one adult.
Discounts for combined programs, siblings, and "teacher" families. Feel free to email us with any questions or requests at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you outside... in a tent or a park or along the creek.
