2nd Grade | January Afternoons

Outside
the NatureLab - Takoma Park

$ 50.00

the NatureLab is OUT! (Outside Under Tents) with 2nd Graders to explore the world through science, art, and nature.

Come
 outside after online school while building critical thinking skills, exploring inherent creativity, and spending time with like-minded friends.

Our 2nd Grade students will be examining crystals and structures into January. Structure studies will be balanced by building and exploring, linking the concepts of form and facet with the natural and built environments. Each day we meet throughout the month, we will introduce a concept which will be reinforced through projects, play, and walking field trips.

Our groups will meet at 3:15-5:15 at Forest Park (corner of Elm and Prince Georges) with one adult and one high school age helper (if needed). *TIME CHANGE*

Discounts for combined programs, siblings, and "teacher" families. Feel free to email us with any questions or requests at lab-up@thenaturelabsite.com. We look forward to seeing you outside... in a tent or a park or along the creek.
